Hospitality tour for fourth-year IHMS students

Last Tuesday, the first group of fourth-year students set off on the (famous) annual ‘Hospitality Tour’, a jam-packed hospitality programme organised each year by the International Hotel and Management School.

The first day began with a visit to the Livar (Limburg pig) monastery, followed by a wine tasting at Thiessen Wijnkoopers, one of the oldest wine cellars in the Netherlands. Afterwards, the students had the chance to make their own cocktails and dine at a restaurant where one of our IHMS alumni is in charge. On the second day, the group of students travelled to Antwerp, including a visit and beer tasting at the ‘De Koninck’ Brewery and a tour of the stunning 5* Sapphire Hotel. After dining at the famous ‘Elfde Gebod’ restaurant in Antwerp, the students enjoyed the vibrant nightlife. The Hospitality Tour made a final stop on day three in Den Bosch, where the delicious Bosche Bollen and worstenbroodjes are made. In total, four groups will experience this unforgettable journey.
