    Star chef Erik Tas in kitchen Classique

    The students of the School for Hospitality, Hotel, and Facility Management were given a unique opportunity: top chef Erik Tas took over the kitchen for an exclusive kitchen takeover on February 17, 18, and 19. During these three days, he worked alongside students from the Cook training program to prepare culinary masterpieces.

    With this initiative, Erik Tas aimed to inspire young talents and give them a taste of what it means to work at the highest level of gastronomy. “The future of gastronomy is in the hands of the next generation of chefs. I love sharing my knowledge and passion with the students of ROC Mondriaan and showing them the endless possibilities in our profession,” said Erik Tas.

    About Erik Tas

    Erik Tas is a renowned chef with an impressive career. After working as a sous-chef in several top restaurants, he opened his own establishments: Restaurant Bij Erik in Leidschendam and ’t Ganzenest in Rijswijk. His talent was recognized with a Bib Gourmand for Bij Erik and a Michelin star in 2023 for ’t Ganzenest. Since 2023, he has also been a member of Les Patrons Cuisiniers, an exclusive group of 25 top chefs in the Netherlands.
