Week of the Circular Economy

The Circular Economy Week is taking place this week in and around Invitez. Each day, one ‘R’ from the ‘Refuse, Reduce, Re-use, Repair and Recycle‘ series, together an ‘ideal circular economy,’ will be in the spotlight through an extensive slide presentation shown on a number of screens on our campus. In addition, several activities have been planned to educate our students and colleagues on ways to be more conscious of our fragile earth. One of these activities consists of a joint effort by our hospitality schools, in which students, as well as staff, make the immediate vicinity around Invitez  ‘butt-free’ with grab tools in two hours. See attached photos. As you can see, there is a considerable ‘harvest’, as a result.
