FestiFood Haagse Hout was a fantastic celebration!

On Friday, 26 September, the very first food truck festival ‘FestiFood Haagse Hout’ was organised by the School of Hospitality & Facility Management (in collaboration with the Department of Order and Safety).

We look back on a very successful first edition. It was wonderful to see how our students dedicated themselves to the event and, like true professionals, welcomed guests and served them delicious food and drinks. The car park on Helenastraat was transformed into a lively festival area, thanks in part to the Facility Management students. After a vibrant opening by the brass band and a moment of appreciation for the colleagues who organised the event, the festival could truly begin.

Visitors were enthusiastic and wonderfully diverse — not only students and colleagues, but also parents, friends, family, and many people from the local community came along to enjoy the festival.
