On Thursday 9 October, the grand anniversary celebration of ROC Mondriaan took place at the ADO Stadium. Mondriaan 25 Years is an event that won’t soon be forgotten: live music, various DJs, full dance floors, delicious food accompanied by drinks, countless cheerful colleagues and an amazing atmosphere.
All of this could only be a success thanks to the efforts of many colleagues and students from IHMS, Hospitality & Facility Services, and Tourism, Recreation and Events.
The impact of the celebration was significant: throughout the entire week (with the exception of Imagine in De Gemberpot), all lunches and dinners at Invitez were cancelled. An alternative practical programme was organised, mise en place took place at school, and there was plenty of work for all colleagues who contributed to the organisation and success of this magnificent event — for which we, and all of Mondriaan, were deeply grateful.
We also thoroughly enjoyed the presence of our fantastic students. With their dedication, enthusiasm and hospitality, they played a major role in making this celebration a success. The Hospitality Campus has once again delivered an impressive showcase!
