The annual asparagus cooking competition of the Brabants Asparagus Genootschap (Association) recently took place at NOVA College in Haarlem.
During this competition, a total of ten teams each consisting of two cooking students, each team from a different ROC, competed for the “Sligo Trophy”.
And the winner was ……. the ROC Mondriaan Team!
Our students Mike and Jim, both students at the School for Hospitality and Facility Services, convincingly won the gold medal.
Our golden team was coached by teacher Jordy Ramakers van Praag: “The boys did a great job! We are really proud of this great achievement!”
This challenge trophy is literally one of great size: the very heavy trophy is currently on display at the entrance of Restaurant Classique. Read the whole article here:
