Inspirational Careers Day IHMS

On Thursday, February 1, the third edition of our “Inspirational Careers Day” took place at the IHMS. More than 200 enthusiastic 3^rd and 4^th year students were immersed in a world full of inspiration, interaction and valuable networking opportunities within the industry. During the morning session, engaging workshops took place, including workshops on finding a purpose in life and orientation towards the future. During the mini-clinics, students were able to explore different fields of study and to ask questions, for instance, about taking a gap year. In addition, representatives from Stenden, the Hoge Hotelschool The Hague and our own career advisors were on hand to advise and inspire the students.

In the afternoon programme, students explored their primary energy colours according to the DISC principle. In an interactive workshop, they learned to put their talents into words and discovered which energy colours they currently most strongly represent. In addition, this workshop provided insight into how students can best work together with different colours and character traits.

The day ended with a networking event where several hotel groups, including The Dylan, Moxy, Hilton and Bilderberg, had set up beautiful stands to connect with our students.  We look back fondly on this very successful day and are already looking forward to the next edition!
