The “Green Classroom” is currently being developed in the courtyard of the School for HORECA and Facility Services of ROC Mondriaan on the Helenastraat. Today, during this sun-drenched “National Outdoor Lesson Day 2023”, we are already looking forward to next year’s edition, when the Green Classroom – a location where students actually follow lessons outdoors – will be in full bloom and up and running.
A festive opening will follow this coming spring and the Green Classroom will be a sustainable enrichment for hospitality education at the Helenastraat location. With a wide reach, not only the restaurants of Invitez at The Hague Hospitality Experience Center will soon literally reap the fruits (and herbs, thanks to the Koppert Cress B.V. nursery) of this location, but the benefits will also apply to primary and secondary vocational schools in the area. In short: There are plenty of sustainable plans and opportunities!
